When I became a parent, I really began to understand the impact of my past experiences. The pressure of being your child’s entire world while managing your own complex feelings can be exhausting. Whether it’s reflecting on how you were or weren’t parented, struggling with limited support, or carrying the financial and emotional weight of family life, it can feel like too much. Add in past trauma, and this phase of life can feel isolating and overwhelming.

That’s where I can help—with Somatic Therapy.

Through somatic therapy, I provide a safe and supportive space to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself. My training in somatic experiencing is equipping me with the tools to help you regulate your nervous system and find balance amidst life’s challenges.
What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between your mind and body to support healing from the inside out. Unlike traditional “top-down” approaches that aim to shift your thoughts to influence your emotions, somatic therapy uses bottom-up techniques. This means we work directly with your body to release stored tension, unresolved responses, and emotional weight that may be holding you back. For example, have you ever replayed a conversation, thinking, “I wish I’d said __,” over and over again? That’s your body holding onto an instinctive, incomplete response. Through somatic therapy, we can release those stored feelings, helping you move forward with clarity and peace.

I specialize in working with perfectionists, people pleasers, the overwhelmed, the burned out, and the ones carrying anger they can’t quite understand. Together, we’ll explore what’s stored in your body and transform it into a source of strength and healing through somatic therapy.
